Very obvious scam, the government doesn’t text you a parking ticket
Its fake! lol how can you NOT tell?
I received a notification about a cam fine via Telegram app group message from CyCambot… I initially suspected a scam as I couldn’t find the ticket number on the official cycam fines website .
The interesting thing is they had everything all details ticket number reg no date and time .. also that insurance and road tax was uptodate and that my vehicle was not impacted by the airbag issue
Fortunately for me I recalled the area where I was at the time and date and I had a feeling I had been caught by one of those traffic vans…buy wasn’t 100% sure
So I held on for almost a week and lo and behold the official notification appeared on the official cycam fines website .
€60 fine and 2points .. fair cop though not complaining…
