I always thought it was funny that he gave the same excuse the mafia use to explain unaccounted money. “I had a good day at the races” 😂

Bertie was a crook and should have been jailed. That said I think his administration was better for the country by building infrastructure and delivering housing. FG and friends have been in power for over 12 years an haven’t been able to deliver a sustainable number of units in over the period. Haven’t intervened in the supply side of housing but are quite happy to intervene on the demand side to increase prices which seems odd considering they help service providers directly in other markets when it suits them.

The mahon tribunal cost the Irish taxpayers €250million. This ham should not be let anywhere near office ever again.

Its amazing how the media can whip up a storm.
There is really zero signs from FF that they are going to nominate Bertie.
Yet a few poll results showing the public as a whole prefer him to other FF candidates, and suddenly everyone thinks he is already in the race.

I’d like to see him run and lose.

The fact that this is even up for discussion is a pathetic indictment on the leaders and political class in this country.
But as the people of Tipp prove every time Lowry is voted back in ,a lot of Irish people are as thick as 2 planks.
