If he’s going to be homeless on the street would he not be better off in custody anyways ? Least he’s a bed and 3 square meals

I feel sorry for anyone of the witnesses who now have a homeless desperate man on the streets looking for them to harass.

Anyone know what the scale of charges is here? To my layman eyes attempting to stab the security guard is not just “producing” an implement.
Why do the news outlets water down what actually happened , swinging a screw driver in my mind would be attempting to stab, he was hardly hoping to bonk him on the head with the but end of it.
