10 bank holidays and 20 annual leave?
I’m an hourly rate contractor, I’ve 0 days paid leave and 0 paid public holidays

Austria Wtf? I have a friend from Vienna and she mentioned they get a lot of days off. I didn’t realise quite how many.

The Netherlands is 20 day of holidays minimum. But they also have bank holidays.
In France it is 25 days of holidays minimum, and they have a couple more bank holidays.
Not sure where they get 41 for one and 20 for the other. So i would take those numbers carefully.
Especially that’s the vast majority of people in Netherlands get more than 20. The average number of PTO would make more sense.
