My great-great-grandfather and great-great-grandmother were from Kars, they left in the 1920s. They were very young then, just married. They lived in rich families and had a lot of gold and jewelry. They were afraid that if they took all this with them, they would be killed and robbed on the way, so they buried everything in the hope of returning soon. My great-great-grandfather often remembered his life in Kurs and dreamed of being there again. He lived 94 years, but was never able to return home. However, he did not lose hope that his descendants would return. He passed on the exact coordinates of his treasure to his children and grandchildren, but his children have also died, and his grandchildren no longer remember anything.
That’s all I know. Source: stories of my grandmom (his granddaughter). I plan to go to my grandmom (she lives in another city) in a month or two and try to find some material resources in her mom’s house.
