Maybe….but if Ukraine and Europe don’t accept the resulting plans from the meeting then the plan is worthless.

Not just Ukraine! Europe and basically the whole world too. The potential horrible consequences from trying to sell out Ukraine are for literally everyone, except dictators hell bent on conquest. It’s saying “open season on land grabs”
I think Europe entering the war on the Ukrainian side now would be a perfectly reasonable reaction to what Drump is trying to push through
