      Seriously though, very good photos. The only one I’ve never heard of is the Jersey Tiger. Going by the name, it must be restricted to certain areas.

    2. For anyone interested, the cinnabar moth is a gorgeous black and red daytime moth that’s declining in the UK. It’s caterpillars eat Ragwort, which is a native meadow flower, but is often destroyed because it’s harmful to cattle and horses. If you have any land which you don’t mow, or see ragwort growing in your lawn and want to help them out, just leave the plant be. The caterpillars will eat it down to the stalk very quickly.
