Putin didn’t go there to make a deal. Putin went there to try and peel Trump and America further away from Ukraine.
Putin did not go to negotiate peace!
He went there to humiliate America.
Trump enabled him to do that by ignoring the international arrest warrant.
America has never looked so weak.
They were never going to “get there”. A “deal” was never the plan

Trump failed to reach a deal.
Pooding didn’t failed because he was not intended to reach the deal in the first place. He intended to made a selfie with American president to show the entire world that USA accepts and approves his actions in Ukraine, and to prevent the sanctions that can disrupt russian economy and war efforts.
Putting had achieved all his goals from this meeting.

Trump is such an impotent clown. Despite being military and economically way more powerful than Putin, Trump has allowed himself to be sidled up to and told quite bluntly to fuck off.
It’s down to Ukraine with European backing to win this war. Confiscate Russian assets, start to shoot down Russian missiles inside Ukraine with European airpower.
