Trump is a moron. Whom ever speaks to him last is the view he goes with. He says no deal but actually I am willing to bet Putin sold him on a deal. He is going to present that to Ukraine next week with demands to hand over land like Donbas which Putin knows Ukraine cannto agree with it.

Anne Applebaum is such a fantastic writer and is razor sharp in every phrase she’s put to paper. Her books are incredibly impressive and I’m so glad that her voice continues to advocate for the Ukrainian cause. It’s deeply saddening how much worse the outcome expectation has become since Trump took office. Had he just stayed the course, we’d be in such a vastly different situation now.
It’s just sad to imagine that there were people who genuinely believed that Trump would be better than Biden on Ukraine…
