Tutte queste città si trovano nelle regioni di Donetsk e Luhansk dell’Ucraina, il cosiddetto Donbas. Tutte queste città sono già state ridotte in cenere dall’esercito russo.

All these cities were once full of Ukrainians – children, families. Ukrainians whom Russian war criminals have either killed, captured, forcibly transferred, or driven from their homes under relentless attacks – now cynically calling a “brotherly nation”.
Having left nothing but ruins behind, Putin still seeks to seize and destroy more, to turn new cities into the same lifeless wasteland. Russia’s war is not just against Ukraine’s territory – it is against the very right of Ukrainians to exist.
The U.S., European and other partners have the strength to make Russia stop. Strong, coordinated actions grounded in justice, sovereignty, and Ukraine’s territorial integrity will bring a just and lasting peace.

Russia wants these places for one reason. To make a narrower front line, and fortify it.

Putin and his minions will say that this is all because of NATO. And that they are protecting the russian minority in Ukraine.
Nice way to protect something that doesn’t need protecting…

That’s the crazy part. If…if russia takes over these places. All money is going to building another Berlin wall that is thousands of times larger. But where is that money coming from.
Bottom line, russia cannot rebuild cities it bombed into the ground that had millions of inhabitants. Who would even show up to rebuild? North Koreans?

I’m getting so tired of all these false equivalences being drawn, they just incapacitate the west.
