That was incredible . I’ve seen them a good few times and that was the best.

    2. It was a great gig.
But I was on the pitch and the organisation was terrible.
If you were on the pitch, then Rockshore and water are the only drinks you could have. The bars outside had draught Rockshore or you could buy barely-chilled 330ml cans on the pitch for €7.65 each.

Some pitch people went up to the bars in the stands to get other beer and gin in a tin cans but that was only if you could get passed the stewards.

Everyone was supposed to get a wristband, but many people never saw the stewards putting them on after they went through bag check. I saw girls crying after being told to go back through the crowds to get a wristband and queue again.

If you are going tonight and are on the pitch just a word of warning. Make sure you get a wristband and avoid the bars outside before Oasis come on stage as you’ll be 45 minutes trying to get back in.

Here come all the “I don’t like Oasis so no one is allowed to” posts.

    4. Oasis were fucking brilliant but that is the worst organisation, and probably the worst crowd control I’ve seen in 31 years of gig going. There were no toilets for women in the stadium if you were standing, you had to go back out to the entrance gates at the Cusack stand which was impossible after 7.30pm due to the direction of the crowd movement. No sale of anything but fucking Rockshore.

I’ve been to Croke Park on multiple occasions and never seen organisation like that, absolute shambles.

It’s mad how any event of a slightly larger scale absolutely shuts down the capital and the roads around it. Almost as if Dublin isn’t fit for fucking purpose.

Pro tip for tonight: buy cans in a spar / off licence on the way and drink near the stadium

I saw them in Manchester and it was probably the best gig I ever went to. Buzzing that it’s going so well for them.

    8. Out of curiosity, how long did it take people to get home from the gig?

If you haven’t got tickets yet & you received a code from Oasis’ mailing list for the final available tickets on Friday, try the code again this morning. We didn’t get tickets on the Friday release but we tried the code again yesterday morning and managed to pick up 4 tickets for €150 a pop for last nights gig. Absolutely delighted with myself.

150 quid for a nostalgia trip, while the current music scene faces incredible struggles.

      One born every minute.

Anyone get a ticket last minute and how much did you pay?

Fantastic gig. Sounds like standing was a bad experience with the setup.

I was in the Davin stand. Although it was the furthest point from the stage, everyone gave it socks and had great fun with fans singing and crying together. Access to toilets and drinks was as expected (fine) and probably easier than match day actually.
I would do it again. I’m wrecked though 😁town was buzzing all night too.
