Every time I read “Russia takes the city of X”, my mind quickly corrects it to “Russia takes the ruins of X”

Russians will rebuild every city in like a year or so…you can see video on yt of Mariupol being rebuilt if you type in something like “mariupol 2025” “mariupol rebuild” etc. They work on reviving these cities and areas. It cant look like it didnt happen anything? War is still going on…
