Doesn’t look very accurate. Cork has more people than all of Connacht and Dublin has more people than all of Munster. Overall, we have feck all people here when you think about it.

If one doesn’t like people, the Northern countries are the way to go.

Looking at this you wouldn’t realise that Spain is more densely populated than ireland

If we all piled into Spain in the morning, would they notice?

It’s mad how you can still see the effect of the Highland Clearances. And how they were, in some ways, even more brutal than what went on in the west of Ireland.

The difference between [Ireland at 76.6/km^2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Ireland) and [Scotland at 70/km^2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland) is striking.

It’s even more bizzare when you see that [Spain is at 97/km^2](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Spain)

Obviously the different concentrations within each country could account for some of these discrepencies ([The Celtiberian Range](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celtiberian_Range) has the second lowest population density in Europe after Lapland) but I think this is just a bad map.

Yet have lads on the radio complaining about it being difficult for people working in Cities to build houses 1hr+ from their work in the countryside in one off housing with no connection to the place. (This obviously does not apply to farmers)
