>*Peter, it is Russia, not Ukraine, who began this war and refuses to end it. Hungary has been told for years that Moscow is an unreliable partner. They’ve only had 3 years to diversify their supply, just like the rest of us. Who could have foreseen that relying on a pipeline in a literal active war-zone (for political reasons) might have consequences?
It’s genuinely depressing how so many of their electorate are still too stupid to recognise these realities.

Our minister of foreign affairs szíjjártó “lavrov’s dog” péter is actually not ours, but the co-owned asset of putinistan, and the chinese communist party, just like his boss, orban.
>Finally, a reminder to Ukrainian decision-makers: electricity from Hungary plays a vital role in powering your country…
That’s a new low.

Hungary’s foreign minister, Szijjártó Péter (and not just him), is using pretty much everything to portray Ukraine and Ukrainians as villains. There were even polls made in the bordering region of Ukraine to Hungary, asking civilians, how they would react in case of Hungarian military enters Ukraine, putting my tinfoil hat on here, but being such pro Russian in every case humanly possible is just plotting a bigger picture in my head. Thinking about either entering the war on some false premise in the future, or rigging the elections next spring on the pretext of some other crisis related to Ukraine. This government should be studied on corruption and spreading propaganda.

Hungary’s current govt is trash and I don’t get it why Hungarians keep them in power.
Many of them shop in Romania bcs it’s cheaper, which clearly hints that being a Russian bootlicker makes no sense.

When members of the Orban junta start crying over something, it’s usually something they themselves could have prevented but instead blamed everyone else for. In short: Get stuffed.

Well fuck you, Orbanistan.
Yes, that’s what I’m going to call it. Hungary is an old European nation with a long and interesting culture and history – like any European state. It deserves better than being Orbanistan.

So what? Orban won’t have enough money for a new palace now?
