How does the whole Greta operation work? How big is the team and who funds the cause of the day

    2. They blocked the way to one of several gates? The guests or employees gate? Truckers?.
They blocked a road. Business for the press

“Oil kills” is written on her clothes.

Norwegian oil is a replacement of Russian oil. Russian oil is what funds the Russian war machine.

      So ironic.

What does she think the plane that took her from Paris ran on?

    5. Inevitable_Driver291 on

Stealing my dreams indeed, dreams of never doing a day’s work in her life and generally getting in the way of other people trying to do so.

Is she back to worry about the climate again?

No more photos with octopus teddies when talking about Israel?

So much pathetic Greta hate in this comment section. And for what, protesting climate change and the fossil fuel addicted political-economic system that drives it?? She’s right, the activists are right.

    8. nemojakonemoras on

The hate this woman receives whatever she does is just astounding. It’s like someone, somewhere really wants us to focus on ridiculing any attempt of talkback or revolt or protest. Like *look at this girl, with her passion and effort, what a stupid cunt*.

    9. Her original speech was kinda powerful and had some meaning behind it, being a kid talking about the environment, but from there it was all downhill. These PR stunts dont do her any good in my eyes.

Doing this in the safest and cleanest country what about India and china

    11. SargnargTheHardgHarg on

She’s still doing this sort of insane bs thing then.

Could we hypothetically pass legislations to make the activists pay for the lost revenue caused to the companies they are blocking ? And do the same for groups that cause DDoS attacks on websites.

Like make them pay for the damage caused, run them bankrupt, and throw them in jail if they can’t pay.

I’m still waiting for the day when they will block the ruzzian stuff. For some strange reason they never do it.

Seems pretty foolish. Norwegian oil is the main energy buffer Europe has protecting it from the full brunt of dependency on Russian, American, and middle eastern oil. If Norway actually phased it out like she wants, Europe would be shooting itself in the foot.

That poor kid never stood a chance at having a normal childhood.

    16. continuousQ on

She’s not wrong, but it’s also kind of pointless. The path to getting rid of oil is reducing demand. The EU should build tons of nuclear power plants, strengthen the grid, decarbonize industries, and stop imports from countries that don’t do the same.

    17. Amazing, Greta uses an iPhone, a microphone, and other devices to make Instagram videos. She wears clothes that require oil to produce, just like countless other things she relies on. Until I see her naked, or living without all that or presenting real alternatives we can actually use, I can’t take it seriously. Until then, it feels like clickbait profit BS that only harms regular working people

    18. nick_20__ on

Norway should pump as much oil as possible and Europe should stop complaining about it. Yes it is not good for the environment and yes it makes Norway rich but for now Europe still relies on gas and the money is much better spent on Norwegian gas. Norwegian gas production produces less CO2 per barrel drilled and at least some of the profits are going to Ukraine (though they should give more). The alternative to Norwegian gas is giving more money to Putin so he can massacre more Ukrainians, but according to Greta Norway is the one with “blood on their hands”.

But hey, Europe has already bought $209bn worth of gas from Russia since the start of the invasion so a bit more can’t hurt right /s? Europe is the one that needs to change its energy policy, not Norway. Norway is not the one giving a terrorist state billions of euros every year for assault rifles, bombs, nukes, tanks and ballistic missiles. If Greta wants to grandstand about saving lives by blocking oil production, she should block Russian refinery operations.

I’d like to see her protesting in Qatar.

Diversity in the oil market is actually a strength and environmentally fairer + the EU never had much leverage/power.

We have a series about this, occupied .. not sure if it’s on Netflix.

      Shit… are we occupied?

I like that she keeps this fight alive, despite all the different problems in the world. Hopefully she keeps this environmentalism fight alive.

Are all of her clothes oil and animal free?

Cotton and hemp only? I think not.
