So… Not the filming as such but not obeying the red X.

      That’s a rubbish headline

Before JD Vance sees this and cries about “freeze peach”; they were prosecuted for using their mobile phone while driving or driving in a closed lane.

Good. Kick them up the arse as well. In a non-violent way of course because encouraging violence isn’t allowed on Reddit.

BBC click bait headline. Drivers using their phone and driving in closed lanes prosecuted it should say.

I was involved in a fatal and had to stay on scene, the officers absolutely screaming at drivers on the other side of the road rubbernecking and filming was haunting

      The article says it all

      >”Filming any road traffic collision when you are driving is not only dangerous, but incredibly thoughtless, so I am pleased to see these people prosecuted.

I live in hope that one day we’ll prosecute people for actual crimes.

Sick fucks desperate for clicks on their socials.

They’ll race to get this up on Twitter or whatever oblivious to the fact that the loved ones may not be aware of what’s happened.

I hope something equally horrific happens to them.

Irrespective of the tickets (good), there is something just fucking weird about filming accidents. You’re potentially filming someone having the worst day of their lives, and for why? To share it on social media with no thought that first time the injured peoples loved ones find out about the incident is from your dumb video, not a police officer?

There’s a good video from Germany about this; [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ffetIbzyK8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ffetIbzyK8)
