      Fighter jets from NATO nations, including Poland and Sweden, were scrambled after Russia launched long-range missile strikes on Ukraine overnight.

      “On the night of August 18 to 19, 2025, the long-range aviation of the Russian Federation once again launched missile attacks on Ukrainian territory,” the Polish military said in a statement posted to social media on Monday.

      Just shoot down the ones heading into Ukraine ffs… They’re killing civilians and standing by with jets at the ready just in case the missiles cross into Nato airspace is unconscionable.

      It’s so cool to see the European countries using their military aircrafts just to watch our civillians being bombed. What else to expect from our dearest allies from the world’s strongest military alliance, we are definitely not grateful enough to them.

      They spend billions on these jets that never get used and then spend billions upgrading them , never to be used again. All this while a neighbor is being slaughtered

      Nobody knows the target of a missile in flight. Any nearby country has a real justification for shooting it down, just in case…
