Jail, coma, space travel?
Context. My father passed in 2010. This picture is from the top of Mount Jubilee in Mayo. He was born and raised in that small two room shack down next to the red roof barn. We used to climb this “mountain” when we were kids and visiting for the summer. Ever since he passed I’ve wanted to come back and climb this hill one more time so I could say my proper goodbye to him. Before this, it was 27 years since I’d been back to Mayo
I’ve had a similar mission in mind for over 20 years now, but it’s Slievenamon for me.
Getting too old now, the climb would probably kill me!
