      Just like in Leuven I suspect that most streets in Bruges (or Gent) are wide enough for car drivers to leave the mandatory 1m of space between them and a cyclist when passing, so I very much applaud this change. Now at least cyclists can feel comfortable cycling in the middle of the road instead of being pushed to the side by car drivers who can’t pass legally yet do so anyway

      Good. Take an example from the Dutch cities. Most of them are more pleasant to live in the Belgium’s cities and the transport infrastructure is a large part of it.
