It starts this time every year. I’m surprised you’re surprised.

    2. Maybe it’s the picture, but they do look smaller than I remember them….

Brown Thomas Christmas shop opened this morning too

Holidays are coming… Holidays are coming,.. put away the sun screen…. Holidays are coming…

    5. I still have 3 or 4 tubs left over from last year. You give a load if them away, then you nearly get the same back. If the chocolate quality was anyway half decent, I’d eat them myself.

August , always Halloween and Christmas stuff

Halloween normally starts as soon as kids are back at school next week

Brown Thomas will start their Christmas decorations around start of September / end of August

      It’s the same every year

    7. Garlic-Cheese-Chips on

Shops don’t put them out for the craic. People buy them. Blame people.

Sure look it while we are here, I love this inbetween holidays, Santa battling it out with Freddie Kruger and the lads,

      Aliens Vs Christmas elves.

It’s a battle to the death on who gets that floor space in Tesco, Aldi and so forth.

Seeing Santa clause surrounded by halloween horror, is great.

    9. Bit late this year, was bank holiday in a lot of places last year.

honestly I’m gonna be honest i stopped buying these for Christmas due to very blatant Shrinkflation it’s more noticeable with the Celebrations Tin but Jesus Christ people

Will I complain it’s too early? Yes!

Will I buy & eat them continuously from now until December? YES!!

They seemed to have massively over stocked these last year, they were 3 for 10 regularly. Looks like It’ll be the same this year.

    13. YoIronFistBro on

      Nah that’s fine.

What’s _actually_ a problem is when it’s already all gone before we’re even out of November.

    14. Bracing myself for 3 straight months of people complaining that it’s too early.

    15. People who don’t earn a lot of money have to buy luxuries such as these in bits and pieces over many months, such as from August. Same goes for Christmas presents.

    16. fedupofbrick on

Four pay days until Christmas for many people. Some have to budget

    17. RejectingBoredom on

You buy one a week and it eases up your Christmas shopping bill like Klarna

    18. Miwadigivemeache on

Were not even back jn school. Theyll be all mold and maggots by christmas eve

    19. stevewithcats on

They put them there because people buy them..

If everyone stops buying them they will stop the early christmas shite.

      Simples

    20. forza-my-toes-r on

I better hurry up and get some , they might be all gone ! 😉

I was only thinking earlier in the week it’s like 15 Fridays till December 1st. Where are all the moaning posts? About people having something positive to focus on with all the shit that’s going on in the world. It’s a nice distraction and it’s for the kids mostly. Also mince pie and cuppa? Cmaaaaan

    22. ZeusMcPain on

Every year it starts the same time every year!

      It’s almost halloweeeeeeeen

    23. IntentionFalse8822 on

Christmas comes just once a year. Mainly because it can’t fit in twice any more.

    24. Background_Being_490 on

You think that’s early??? That’s for next Christmas!!!

    25. Separate_Noise_8 on

I tell ye, Quality Street has got so small these days they should call it Quality Car Parking Space instead. Bastard shrinkflation ruining everything

    26. GiveMeAllTheRadishes on

I hate this shit! Worst chocolate you could ever buy

    27. dublindestroyer1 on

Love an oul tub of heroes at the end of August just BEFORE the kids go back to school.

    28. No_Guest2198 on

It’s only marginally earlier, 6 years ago when I worked in retail, it was on the delivery last week of august and on the shelves shortly after. Always made me laugh that on Halloween night we would be putting up the Xmas stuff as we took/cleared off the Halloween stuff but now it’s just “another day in paradise”.

I bet though they are stark mad prices, due to having to be displayed at full price before they can be put up as “a bargain”.

    29. Neil_Salmon on

Nothing inherently Christmassy about these – it’s not even Christmas-themed packaging. Don’t see the problem.
