I still have 3 or 4 tubs left over from last year. You give a load if them away, then you nearly get the same back. If the chocolate quality was anyway half decent, I’d eat them myself.

Halloween normally starts as soon as kids are back at school next week

Bit late this year, was bank holiday in a lot of places last year.
honestly I’m gonna be honest i stopped buying these for Christmas due to very blatant Shrinkflation it’s more noticeable with the Celebrations Tin but Jesus Christ people
What has begun ?
All I see are tubs of chocolate.

Will I buy & eat them continuously from now until December? YES!!
They seemed to have massively over stocked these last year, they were 3 for 10 regularly. Looks like It’ll be the same this year.

What’s _actually_ a problem is when it’s already all gone before we’re even out of November.
Bracing myself for 3 straight months of people complaining that it’s too early.
People who don’t earn a lot of money have to buy luxuries such as these in bits and pieces over many months, such as from August. Same goes for Christmas presents.

I was only thinking earlier in the week it’s like 15 Fridays till December 1st. Where are all the moaning posts? About people having something positive to focus on with all the shit that’s going on in the world. It’s a nice distraction and it’s for the kids mostly. Also mince pie and cuppa? Cmaaaaan

It’s only marginally earlier, 6 years ago when I worked in retail, it was on the delivery last week of august and on the shelves shortly after. Always made me laugh that on Halloween night we would be putting up the Xmas stuff as we took/cleared off the Halloween stuff but now it’s just “another day in paradise”.
I bet though they are stark mad prices, due to having to be displayed at full price before they can be put up as “a bargain”.
Nothing inherently Christmassy about these – it’s not even Christmas-themed packaging. Don’t see the problem.
