Edit – I figured it out. Cycled the Timer button 4 times, then pressed play again, and now it operates.
P.s. your 40 varieties of Kolsch are very very good
The knob looks on being set too hot – typically I’d take 30-40 but that’s a personal preference.
Pressing the start button should have started water filling in right away, you can hear it and see it if you open the detergent tray. Check if the door is properly closed and press the start button again. Maybe you triggered the pause.
