      Yes, it’s a scam, but no, it’s not new at all.

      Robot calls/scam calls. Never pick these up or, you’ll confirm your number is in use and you’ll get even more spam/scam calls.

      You can block hidden numbers so they won’t bother you

      You’ll receive thousands of scam calls and emails + threatening emails.

      The easiest thing is to ignore, and don’t ever call back.

      You can contact your provider or use their website
      /app to block anonymous calls, it’s called ACR Anonymous Call Rejection
