No ads, no bills, no contracts to sign or documents that need to be “original” with the ink on it? All digital already..? That would be … interesting

It has nothing to do with digitalisation but everything to do with that drnmark sucks att running businesses. the postnord collapse in Denmark is a given to study for anyone interested in business management.

Well yeah, they want to snoop on all communication. Much easier when you don’t have to deal with physical letters.

    4. People here be acting like almost everyone in the EU already doesn’t have an electronic mailbox with digital services.

More of a sign of greater surveillance and reliance on something that can and does fail, electricity and internet. Very worrisome especially with the tighter surveillance leash they seem to be pushing

As a person whose hobby is sending/receiving postcards and letters, this is incredibly sad. I hope no other countries follow suit.

As someone with a lot of penpals, I’m curious if this will effectively kill the hobby there?

    10. Tbh this scares me and I hope my country (Germany) stays “behind the times” in this specific case.

Postcards are such a cool thing to exchange. Sites like PostCrossing originated in Europe. It’s old fashioned but getting a real card with real post marks from another place is still very cool . Such a shame for Denmark.

    12. Ah yes no wonder they want chatcontrol so badly! Soon they can check everything no pesky physical mediums and postal privacy laws to abide by.

‘everything digital’ is a fine and safe future – at least until something big really snaps;)
