Already cancelled my families 3 week vacation to New York which costed me my deposit and booked a new one to Toronto, one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Was also planning to go to the Olympics in LA not anymore.
They could offer me money to buy American cars, food, whatever and I would still not do it.
The amount of shit American companies can get away with regarding safety and security of their products make it a hazard to use them compared to European alternatives

They can make all the excemptions you can imagine, I don’t think anyone would buy American produce right now. Not only is their stuff sub par, the US isn’t particularly popular here right now
When is the EU gonna stand up for itself? Oh…wait, never. Because money. The fucking auto lobby here can eat shit as far as I’m concerned. On that note, why should we be forced to accept shit American food or cars so Mercedes Audi and VW can make more profits from us sales? I know that things aren’t that far yet, but that seems to be what’s coming.
Since when can some stupid selfish greedy uncaring auto manufacturers be able to manipulate all of EU into accepting shit food and higher prices? I would think it’s time to stop buying EU and American cars…just get Asian autos and stick it to the both of them, while it seems that their policies are purely about “making deals” and have nothing to do with solidarity.

I know Euros are upset because US now will put higher tariff (like in almost none prior to this) unless Burssels cut tariffs and barriers (which was for decades as high as 20%+ including various built-in barriers) while we subsidized your defense cost due to your inability to meet agreed upon NATO budget.

It’s hard to tell how much of this deal will actually happen. That being said, a larger question looms. What is the point of the EU if it folds under pressure? It’s embarrassing watching them get bullied into bad deals.
The whole idea is “Together we are strong”, yet even together they look weak. I want nothing more than an independent Europe, and we need the EU to lead that. But as of now, it looks impossible to achieve.
