      Are you guys still using Google? There are better search engine alternatives like Ecosia, Qwant and more from Europe. Even Brave Search or DuckDuckGo are better

      I have a lot of problems with Google, but them advertising their own products on their own homepage in a fairly discreet way isn’t one of them.

      This must be one of the most valuable advertising spots in the world. I wonder how much it would cost if they put it for sale.

      Google Search has 90% market share and that is after a push of enshittification to make their search terrible in 2019. Google learned they can get away with it, and as long as most people are using Google, they will pull more and more of this shit

      My honest opinion is to just use a different search engine. 90% of the time I already know where I want to go, and for the other 10% I use Google. Especially on mobile – Google started throwing these popups at me that I literally have zero brain cells left to deal with.
