Ho recitato e scritto per un po ‘, ma nel febbraio 2023 mi è stato diagnosticato Malattia del motoneurone.
Ho scritto un gioco da uomo sulla mia diagnosi, vivendo con MND e attraversando una sperimentazione di droga sperimentale. Si chiama Il mio piede destroun cenno a Il mio dado sinistroe anche la malattia presentata per la prima volta nel mio piede destro.
Speriamo che dovrebbe essere un po ‘un craic (anche se si tratta di qualcosa di piuttosto cupo). È acceso all’Axis Theatre di Ballymun come parte del Dublino Theatre Festival dal 7 al 10 ottobre.

Good for you, bud! I’m out in the sticks so can’t pay a visit but let me know if there’s any other way to show my support.
My bass hero, Charles Mingus, suffered from MND. He kept creating right to the very end. This is him directing a band during the first album where he couldn’t play bass anymore. It contains one of my favourite recordings of his, and he isn’t even playing on it, Devil Woman. Here’s a photo of that recording session with Mingus in a wheelchair on the right.
