      Optimistic and naive it might be, I hope the press have the nerve to give Ahern both barrels if he runs; the man left open wounds in Irish society that deserve grilling him over. Given the scrutiny given to Gareth Sheridan, id expect similar for Ahern who arguably presents much easier targets of inquiry.

      I hope he runs because it will remind the general public what a shower of Charlie Uniform November Tangos he and the Fianna Fáil party are and the damage they did to this country.  

      The general public deserve the opportunity to tell him (and Fianna Fáil) what we think of him.
