Trump can go f*ck himself.
I’m so insanely tired of the victim blaming. Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory don’t escalate war. Only the Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory do. Trump’s stategy of not putting sanctions om Russia and restrict Ukraine’s use of US weapons won’t get Putin to the negotiating table. On the contrary, it will make him more confident in victory.
Makes some sense. Trump can tell Putin that he’s restraining Ukraine as long as peace talks are on the table. Meanwhile if Putin is unreasonable and doesn’t want to accept the subtle political wins even the ones that come with ending the war and leaving Ukraine, then Trump can say he tried his best and let Ukraine “off the leash” to strike deep into Russia and embarrass Putin. Something he could have saved himself from if he had only negotiated with Ukraine.
Something tells me Ukraine is slowly holding back a reserve of long range strike missiles and that 90% of Russian refineries could be on the menu before winter. This would devastate Russia. But it’s best to wait until closer to winter for the strongest effect.
Just more treason. Trump protects russia and the bank accounts of himself and his inner circle, not Ukrainians or Americans.
Only seems to apply to the use of US supplied gear. Ukraine is rolling out it’s own cruise missiles so Trump and Putin can pound sand.

If Putin started LOSING he might be inclined to start talking about peace.
Ukraine has the new missiles to strike deep into Russia and mass production of them. They will be using them. They are fighting for their survival. No alcoholic is going to tell them what to do. Period!

And we expected what? Trump had to take the call and put Zelensky on hold, even though he was there in person. Putin was watching this on TV and fucking called Trump in the middle of it, and Trump answered. What else is there to say?
So that whole statement that alluded to Ukraine being able to strike as deep as they want was a joke I guess
