Hey gente!

    Grazie in anticipo!

It would be kinda weird / provocative. I would tattoo finnish flag instead.

Even if you don’t mean it that way, some people will connect it for far right/nazi. It shouldn’t be that way, but those fuckers has ruined it for other people to use.

Why would you tattoo it when you’re a Turk? Imagine a Finn tattooing Turkey’s crescent and star

Wearing another countries flag is kinda odd, having it tattood is another level of weirdness above that

I don’t think people would assume you are an ultranationalist, but it is kind of a redneck/hillbilly or juntti thing to have tattooed on you. A friend of mine got a tattoo of a moomin saying Perkele, as a reminder of his time in Finland, but you do whatever you want, of course

Tattooing any national symbol is strange, especially if you don’t even live there or have no personal connection to said country. I’d personally go with some aspect of the culture you have enjoyed instead or a memory from a trip.

Having a Finnish lion tattoo, necklace or anything of the sort gets you tagged as a ultra-nationalist pretty quick. That tends to be the only group that displays national symbols in the day-to-day.

Yes, people would think you are far right ultranationalist

    8. Obsessing about another country is weird as Hell. Tattooing our coat of arms is really not something a mentally stable person would do.

    9. Bro, get a tatoo of your own country, itโ€™s kinda weird to tatoo something of another country

    10. That feels super weird.

Most coat of arms tattoos are usually worn by conservative people that have a hillbilly/working class vibe to them. If these dudes were American they would be flying the Confederate flag. Usually they are not nazi racist, but they want “wrong coloured” people off from their communities.

I find it cool that our small country is fascinating for ppl. Imo its pretty cool for that reason. Also its your skin. Get what you want.

Unfortunately the left has made it a symbol of hate and racism, but you don’t have to liste to that.

Finn here. Unfortunately tattoos of Finnish coat of arms are heavily used by neo-nazis/nationalist racists here so there is a high chance people would assosiate you with them. I’m not saying everyone who has them is one but 90% of the time i have seen one it has been a drunken racist.

      It’s cringe.

Unlike in the US, in Finland national symbols aren’t widely displayed in public outside of specific holidays and events. Outside of that context, their display is strongly associated with xenophobic conservatism, far right weirdos and outright Nazis.

Maybe just… get it on a shirt and wear that shirt when you feel like it.
