The price of drink is out of hand, and is leading to social segregation.
They’re gonna pass some of that reduction onto customers, right?
MUP goes to retailers and excise goes to the state right?

Some hope!
I’d like to see a carve out for smaller Irish breweries and distilleries, but Diageo and Heineken can get fucked. Their tap-hogging, venue exclusives and other underhand business practices mean I have no sympathy for them.
Would they even lower the prices if they got it? Feel like they wouldnt tbh

How about a 10% increase instead and we use that money to increase the higher rate cut off? Or if we’re all out for ourselves I’ll take a 100% tax reduction in my personal tax bill and a special “dont be ****” tax on the hospitality industry with twice the rate for the drinks lobby

Just lower the price of pints if this goes through is all I’m asking
