It looks like they threw their energy policies out of the window
100 rubles is $1.24
News: gasoline shortage!!
Reality: gas 0.6 euro in Russia
EDIT: so much denial in comments..
What about steam engines?
No mention of “stopping the war” or “because of the war”. Hypocrites, I hope Ukraine continues it’s mission of destroying oil stations in ruzzia.
Gut news finally. let them taste their own medicine.
Gas in Ukraine: 😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Gas in Russia: 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I remember 2022, when we in Ukraine had an even deeper fuel crisis after our fuel plants were bombed. One of the sharpest memories is a long, long line for a gas station stretching for several blocks, with a young lady in a white Tesla in the middle of it.
She was smiling cheerfully, realizing how ridiculous an EV looked in such a line.
Maybe stop the war, retreat, beg for forgiveness, hand over Putin and the gang and start paying reparations..
Ukraine keep up the pressure!
Thankfully for russia Europe doesn’t provide UA with long-ranged missiles.
I hoope this kind of news will make the people hoard gasoline, make queues longer and the issue will only worsen.
There’s something hilarious and predictable about Ukrainian drone attacks being reported as “unscheduled repairs”.
Fantastic news

Tourism: Ukrainian missile going on a little holiday

The current US average petrol price is $0.90 per liter. Global average is $1.20. This is cheap compared to Europe, but not the US or globally. Source: https://www.globalpetrolprices.com/USA/gasoline_prices/
First of all, I’m impressed by the journalists pronunciation of the regions such as Novokuibyshevsk.
Second, I’m wondering;
If they are in need of fuel to run their war against Ukraine, would it have Russia on their knees sooner or later if other nations hadn’t stopped buying their oil?
If they cut the supply line, Russia might have had to downscale their oil production, but if they didn’t, wouldn’t they have more supply in stock to drive their war machine?
TLDR; If Europe sucked Russia dry from oil, would they have to end their war by now?
As a resident of Vladivostok (Primorsky Krai), I don’t quite understand where the gasoline shortage is here? I can’t speak for Khabarovsk, but in Primorye there is no shortage, but I can’t guarantee for smaller cities, I can only speak for Vladivostok, Artem, Ussuriysk
