.A judge decided to return the children even though a psychologist gave evidence that two of them reported witnessing their father being physically abusive towards their mother. The eldest child had described the family environment as “toxic”.

During in camera testimony, all three children voiced a preference to remain in Florida, stating they had made friends and enjoyed school. However, the judge hearing the case concluded that at least some of their objections were the product of “undue influence”.
