Russians keep proving to be unlike Ukrainians in that they’ll grow a spine to do something about their objectively ѕhіt lives *only* once they’ll be forced to burn furniture as heating fuel or eat stale bread with a bit of a mayo for lunch on the daily. Denying to them the *privilege* of cavorting in the EU for “deserved” summer vacations or forcing them to make do with even more Chinese knock-offs rather than Western goodies in everyday life isn’t enough to make them tear down the glaring truth that they’ve been vile **enablers and guardians** of a colonial Моngоlеѕquе empire that gets life *only* by depriving it from others.

The oh-so-victimized Russians’ “suffering” on the home front isn’t even a hundredth of what the Ukrainians have been forced to endure **again** at the filthy hands of other Russians who gleefully and openly murder, maim, rаре, castrate, torture, orphan, kidnap, bankrupt, evict or expel those same Ukrainians.

If even 1% of the 140 million Russians out there were to stop wallowing in [learned helplessness](https://granta.com/russia-verge-nervous-breakdown/) and instead start to resist meaningfully by joining the *true* Russian opposition that causes “smoking accidents” on railroad tracks or smuggles kidnapped Ukrainians back out to the civilized world, then they would *for once* be something other than **un**lovable losers and unforgivable liabilities to the Ukrainians and the rest of the civilized world.
