Good thing the pensions were increased by the new government and some tax increases are on the way – this will surely help the economy….

I can’t wait for the next op-ed in Süddeutsche or Zeit cheering this success of green politics. Less cars is a good thing, isn’t it?

There has been a 4,3% decline of industry jobs in Germany since 2019.

Also since 2019, Germany has _gained_ about 800,000 more employed people overall though. While industry jobs have declined, these gains have come almost entirely from growth in the service sector.

By industry, they mean automotive industry. The writing was on wall when they completely ignored the threat of EVs. We need policies that force key industries to innovate or this it what happens.

Germany is no longer competitive globally. This is really still just the first inning of a structural collapse in industry and manufacturing.

The U.S innovates, China replicates, and Europe regulates.
