He should sit this one out. Leaving aside his other views, how can he definitively say what those nuns were like? The home closed in 1961, which is a long long time ago. I can’t find his age but there’s no way he was a serving priest when the home was on the go.
He and the catholic church might not like this story being resurrected again, but I think most Irish people are happy to see the money being spent on this.

We all know modern standards will be used as the comparison to how these homes operated which is dumb.
It’s funny how apologists for the Catholic Churches past always claim it was a few bad eggs in the distant past while ignoring the fact that cunts like this still exist.

The headline is bad enough. you’d think he’d keep the head down, maybe say something it’s an awful tragedy and I never saw the nuns participating in anything untoward but then you read the whole article and you realize the man is fucking doubling down, in denial about what happened in these places and just insensitive and offensive in what he’s saying.

I hope these children get a proper respectful burial site , it’s absolutely heartbreaking to think of. I believe we need a museum to this time in our history it is our Holocaust.
The fact that this man can have such an opinion is absolutely terrifying in this day and age. Asking to dig up children aborted is absolutely disgusting and shows he has zero respect for women , abortion can happen for a number of reasons.
