It isn’t really due to wind farms per se. It’s due to the National Grid not being properly connected up to wind farms. Naturally the media will just pretend renewable energy is the problem but this is a wider infrastructure issue.
The fact hostile foreign groups are really pushing this idea renewables are falsely responsible for our high prices is all you need to know.
Since renewables are cheap we’ll be getting below £80/Mwh prices for offshore wind in AR7 for the Cfd contracts right?

More renewables means less reliance on Gas
Less reliance on Gas means lower gas prices
The cost of energy is linked to the highest cost which is Gas
If Gas goes down then Energy prices as a whole goes down too meaning cheaper electricity
Those who are against renewable energy or adapting from Gas to Electricity are a big part of the reason why Electricity is so expensive in the UK, anyone who is against new infrastructure being built and/or more Renewable Energy sources across the UK from being built are holding us back
