I think SF are flying kites to stay in the media headlines. Same as the skullduggery FF are up to.
That or MLMD is clearing house of competition (unlikely when it’s rumoured she will run hence the late date for announcing the candidate).
I’d be paying no heed to this.

PD as president would be a waste as he’s still useful as a TD. The presidency has very little influence in national politics by design.
