Do it, it is real. We have missed flights because of the terrible organization of Charleroi Airport, even though we had no luggage, fast track and were there 2h+ in advance.
J ai reçu le même mail pour mon départ le 18/8 de Charleroi, je suis arrivé deux heures en avance et le contrôle de sécurité à pris 30 minutes.
Stop flying Charleroi and Ryanair. The airport is horrible
Yes, it is really horrible. The queues are also full of really stressed people who are in the process of missing their flights, and trying to cut in front.
I consider Charleroi airport as non-existing. I used it once a long time ago. Never again.
I have travelled around the world, through more airports than I can count; London, Johannesburg, Dubai, Doha, Boston etc etc. Zaventem is fine, but Charleroi has to be one of the worst. Why? Even Paris-Charles de Gaulle works better.
