      Could be one of the reasons that 16,000 businesses that exported to Europe have gone to the wall since Brexit.

      Just because we voted for it, demanded it, told experts where to stick it, boasted about how smart we are, and insisted on getting it doesn’t mean it should happen TO US!?

    3. Im old enough to remember when we were told Brexit was going to eliminate red tape and boost British exports.

      I wish our politicians would start properly attributing our problems to their causes. Brexit has been a disaster for our country yet our PM never mentions it.

      An unnecessary cost is an unnecessary cost but given this is split across all firms it’s not exactly game changing

      All of £65 million? For all businesses in the UK.

      That’s not some massive cost, and businesses spend as much or more to export to places like the US.
