They do know that the public service has to pay for their pensions its deducted from their salary each week. They get what they pay in now based on the specific public service scheme and the date you joined.
They should get access to the Pension scheme but contributions are still going to be taken out of their wages to pay for it.

This is how maintenance services and such, end up being outsourced to 3rd party multinationals like G4S & Sodexo and an IPAD installed where the Receptionist / Secretary used to sit.

Fair play to the SNAs, nice to see a bit of solidarity amongst workers.

Well at least they did it at the start of the year and not around exams so that will give them a lot more public support… 👍👍

Fair play to the SNAs in Carlow, this is what real worker solidarity looks like.

Under the most recent public sector pay deal along with the pay rises was a no-strike clause, does this mean the SNAs are at risk of being fired by the Board of Management?

Can someone explain to me as I think misunderstanding. Outside of the “guaranteed” state pension based on PRSI tax (which won’t exist in future with shrinking tax base) what is the demands here, the public employees state pension is just a generous matching scheme essentially no? You still only get out proportional to what you paid in.

Was the refusal to provide service to kids in need, really required?
