If western countries can’t send their troops now, when russia is at their weakest since 1918, then they surely won’t when it was given time to rebuild.
Security guarantees are dead in the water because Russia would never agree to security guarantees that offer a credible deterrent against future attacks on Ukraine. And since Russian acceptance is required for any peace agreement effective security guarantees are off the table. The only way Russia would accept a security guarantee offering a credible deterrent is if it was utterly defeated and had no choice in the matter.
Realistic news. Nothing will happen, no troops will be sent. All of these peace talks are absolute air. Europe will do nothing and TACO russian agent will keep doing nothing.
we had security guarantees last time, and Ukraine even gave up their nukes for it and the US walked away from their part of it. They will do it again. All this is doing is buying russia more time to destroy Ukraine while trump holds off real sanctions. In fact, hes using the ‘peace talks’ to do closed door business deals with russia, like the whole exxon billionaire deal
Someone in Europe better be talking about how to end the war instead of this cart before the horse crap of guarantees that will never happen.
