      It’s ok, the British Embassy in Teheran is on Bobby Sands Rd (actually).

      the British embassy in Iran was on Winston Churchill Avenue until a few years after the revolution when it was renamed Bobby Sands Avenue … they didnt want his name appearing on the post so they bricked up that entrance and took deliveries via a side door on a different street instead #petty

      Always think Orwell Road is quite an appropriate location for the Russian embassy, if we could just renumber the street so they land on 1984 Orwell Road.

      the russian embassy in dublin is on orwell road which is very ironic even though it’s not named after george orwell afaik.

      We have place names here named after some of his most important people . Vernon Avenue in Clontarf is named after his quartermaster

      The Irish embassy in Lisbon has an Ireland map with Londonderry on it.
