      Not enough, they need to raise it by another €5, only fair.

      Just did the NCT on a 4 yo car, no issues at all as you can expect, but the tester was looking disappointed when he gave me the results 🙄

      €6.59 million profit on €103.22 million in revenue.

      Seems reasonable

      My experiences with the NCT service have been pretty good. Much better than with the RSA. When you compare the two it’s clear the NCT folks are improving year after year, where as the RSA seem to be getting worse.

      System in the UK is way better. That money could be going to local mechanics/businesses.

      My elderly neighbours car failed the test yesterday on a reverse light bulb which i replaced. Do you know if she has to book a retest or can she just drive it in for a visual check?

      So they increase the fee and the profits increase six fold.
      I presume that means they are going to have to increase the fee again.

      Shower of C*nt’s. Their always trying to fail you to make money. I was in there and they failed me for headlights, guess what, the place next door does headlights ,I told him and he wouldn’t even put it on the machine to test them, said they always fail people towards the end of the week to “meet  quota”, said ” book somewhere else and you’ll pass”. I did and I did. Shower of c*nt’s.!

      Last time I got an NCT there was a 6 month waiting list.
      Hopefully that issue has been solved otherwise I’d want to question how they held their contract.
