Translation: “I got caught, and my bluster didn’t work. I honestly thought that rich and powerful got whatever they wanted. Now I’m in the public eye in a bad way, and I have to apologize to save my skin. I’m not sorry I did it, I’m sorry there were consequences”

      It’s too late .
He’s already in the Grinch’s club, whom stolen Christmas.

    3. “I made a serious mistake (about my possible future income)”

      LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO
      Pathetic fake apology.
      The usual.
I don’t believe any apology that comes from rich people, famous people or ceos.

I would never do business with a person like this. You know he’s going to f you over as soon as he can.

This is not an apology. He is still denying his intentions:”The statement, published on Drogbruk’s Facebook page, said: “In heat of the moment and caught up in the joy of the crowd of joy after the victory, I was convinced that the tennis player was handing the cap in my direction – for my sons, who had earlier asked for autographs. This mistaken belief caused me to instinctively reach out my hand.

“Today I know that I did something that looked like a conscious taking away of a souvenir from a child. That was not my intention, but it does not change the fact that I hurt the boy and let the fans down,” he added.”

The quote from him: “Today I know that I did something that looked like a conscious taking away of a souvenir from a child. That was not my intention.”

He still isn’t admitting that he took it on purpose, he now claims he *didn’t know* that the player was handing it to the kid, and he thought it was meant for him. He is acting like he didn’t see the kid crying there next to him.

    8. Deep_Banana_6521 on

only because he got named and shamed. There’s likely a lot of crying babies who’ve had their candy snatched off them by him.

    9. CanadianPropagandist on

Big reversal from “the kid is a brat, I’m just a go-getter who’s better, and I’m gonna sue everybody who says mean things about me”

    10. Dotcaprachiappa on

Can’t wait for him to go radio silent for 6-12 months and then come back once everyone forgot.. what a sad world we live in

    11. Smurfnagel on

He only made the serious mistake after the backlash, he didnt make the serious mistake when he defended stealing from a child.

    12. kapitaali_com on

they completely left out the CEO guy’s first response where he said that he was “more powerful” or something like that and because of it he deserved to grab it for himself

    13. ALittleBitOffBoop on

Apologising because the whole world saw it. I don’t think his moral character will change at all. He seems like quite the douche

    14. Cringsix on

A mistake is you borrowing the hat and forgetting to return it. What you did was pilfering. I hate these self-entitled POS, they make my blood boil.

    15. UnkleStarbuck on

Wtf is the title talking about?? He didn’t apologized he’s giving another fake excuses and lies (he’s saying that he thought it was handed to him, well, we all saw the reality)

      No rest for the wicked.

    16. ItsUs-YouKnow-Us on

Loving the public meltdown. Quite a bit of mental hysteria on show over this nonsense.

“Today I know that I did something that looked like a conscious taking away of a souvenir from a child.”

Yea. It doesn’t only looked like that.

    18. niemacotuwpisac on

No, he has not done a mistake. He deliberately steal a hat from child’s hands. This is not a mistake, not at all…

    19. TheGryphonRaven on

Someone should steal his car. Leaving a note saying that life works first come first serve. If you really wanted your car you should have been there first.

“My only regret is that I got caught.”

I work with CEOs and other business leaders and this type of behaviour is rampant. My job is, in a way of putting it, is to help them heal their mindset and NOT sabotage their careers. The biggest challenge is that it’s this type of behaviour that often helps get them to the top. I’d like to think I’m good at my job, but some people are irredeemable. The consolation is that I can think to myself “I told you so…”.

    21. Spekpannenkoek on

That isn’t what he said the first time when he got the chance to apologise.

    22. Nah, no mistake here buddy, you just got caught.

Stealing a Lollipop from a child, that’s comic villain 101

    23. Healthyred555 on

the ceo acted like a starving person stealing an apple from the stall yet he is super rich, was weird and gross

    24. Own_Instance_357 on

      “I made a serious mistake”

It’s very interesting to see some of these narcissists who are used to ordering and bullying people around and demanding their shit be served to them on all the silver platters get all gobsmacked when they accidentally show their true colors to people who don’t actually work for them or have to serve them being like, “no CEO you’re an actual dick lord and your balding wife’s probably also a bitch cunt”

And then they apparently find out within a few days they can’t do anything about it, because they’re so used to being able to pay for solutions to go away.

Guess what, you can’t pay off the entire internet to go away

      Oh noes

PS this guy totally has a young girlfriend on the side – imho
