Genuinely not excited or rooting for any candidate so far.
Can we put Dustin on the ballot?
Must be the worst slate of candidates ever ! Humphrey’s 100% is a no-go for me considering her track record on Animal Welfare.
First time in my life I’m just not gonna bother voting. I vote on absolutely everything that I’m eligible to vote on. There’s not one good option on this
Bit brain dead having it on the eve of a bank holiday weekend. The following week would make more sense and schools would be closed already not impacting that.

Is candidate selection complete yet. A month and a half to polling day, is it always this short.
It’s going to be an awful election, but can we please try to not vote FF/FG, just to see what happens, maybe an independent or a celebrity. Just a different government please.
Ah, the 24th? Excellent, I’m away the following week on holiday so I was worried I’d miss the election or have to look into mail-in options.

I wish it was 24 September. Get it over with.
I’m kinda disappointed McGregor isn’t in it. Just so I could see him lose again. Honestly whenever I need a pickup I put on the McGregor vs Khabib or McGregor vs Nate ( the skinny fat gazelle).
Every presidential election in my lifetime has had at least one candidate of quality. Really struggling to see any standouts this time around.
Should we not just hand it to a nationally respected figure – no need for a political background in my book, just a good representative of Ireland. Maybe someone from the arts world or sport (not McGregor before you say it). I don’t know, Enya or Liam Neeson or someone. Daniel-Day Lewis? Be grand.
