Best bet is to make it yourself. There is a Mexican market next to Zurich HB. They will have authentic ingredients and chilies and whatnot. Coming from the USA your standards will be extremely high, and most restaurants won’t do it for you.

La Taqueria in Altstetten is the only restaurant that will come close to authentic tacos and other Mexican foods. Avoid Tres Amigos. Beware that sometimes tacos in certain bistros or kebab shops mean French Tacos… which is.. not at all the same.. or even good when you’re craving actual tacos.

ETA: You’ll most likely be making your own tamales. I do it once a year and everyone loves them. You will be able to find the corn husks, corn flour and the chilies and cheese you need at the store I mentioned.
