      Well done burying the lede to sow outrage there, BBC. It’s absolutely not unreasonable to treat this as a hate-related crime, due to where they were painted.

      This is not a general approach of “St. George’s flags are seen as racist,” no matter how much certain media outlets and groups will want to claim.

      people are painting it to intimidate immigrants and non-white people, thats absolutely a hate crime.
