      I really don’t give a crap about what either the US or Israel thinks of this as neither is in any moral position to lecture Europeans on this issue.

      *However*, I still think this is a bad decision as it comes in the light of Israel’s war against Hamas, which is simply sending a wrong message. Hamas is not some legitimate Palestinian authority, but a genocidal terrorist organization that organized a massive terrorist attack against Israeli civilians.

      To give Palestinians a state after Oct 7 is a disgusting capitulation to terror. Not the Palestinians.
      Unless – this is endorsed – which means they should still not get a state at this time.

      Using terror to get your way – should be rewarded?

      You all realize Palestinians have started civil unrest in every country touching its borders?
      Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan….
      Google it.

      They also hate black people and gay people.

      Recognizing a Palestinian state after a brutal Palestinian terrorist invasion is certainly a choice.

      This is likely more for domestic posturing than actually anything about caring for the Palestinian people.
