      Non story.

Instead, how about we talk about how a load of money ended up in Michael Martin’s wife’s account? From a developer?

Or how our Fine Gael health ministers family is directly benefiting from the outsourcing of healthcare staff hiring to external agencies her family is involved with?

Or how Fianna Fáil used to fundraise at the Galway Races with brown envelopes that vanished into thin air?

I have replied with links to each of the above in a reply below for someone who was asking.

    2. It’s totally bizarre that the max donation allowed by a person is 2500 to an Irish political party, yet GB&NI Sinn Fein are getting hundreds of thousands…

Stinks of the FF brown envelope days, to me.

Posted the same in the politics group. They’re the only crowd seriously fighting to reunite our country. Shouldn’t come as a surprise that there are wealthy people out there who would love to see it united and recognise that any effort to do so requires funding. Especially when you consider the amount of power and money that goes into maintaining partition.

Remember that other time this happened and the government argued that the existing Sinn Féin was not a direct, unbroken continuation of the Sinn Féin intended in the will, then used the funds to pay solicitors to argue against paying it, until the entire fund was exhausted.

Do other political parties get money left to them in wills?
