What a surprise. Everyone knows that Putin will not accept any peace that prevents Russia from restarting the war after a few years. Well, everyone except his asset in the White House.

If a NATO country sends troops, and Russia targets them – that would trigger Article 5, no?

So he’s admitting he wants to start the war again?

As I read it: he says he wants “peace”, but if there are western troops they will be targeted. So he’ll attack again?

So wait, there is a peace treaty or a ceasefire that everybody agrees on, even ruzzia. Europeans send troops to ensure the peace. And they become target for who? Who wants to attack once the peace is signed? Wtf is this?

I think the best security guarantee for Ukraine would be for western states to arm Ukraine to the teeth with long range drones, ballistic and cruise missles that could hit all over russia and give Ukraine the approval to use them on any military or infrastructure target they want. Also sign cooperation contracts with the arms industries of western nations and Ukraine that the army will be brought to a modern standard continously. Then let’s see how the capabilities will compare with russias crumbling economy.

In similar fashion Russian troops have absolutely no business being in Ukraine. Get your men out and we won’t have to deploy ours. It is so simple that even kids have this figured out in seconds.
